We are a heritage-driven and innovation-led leader in tea manufacturing and the largest producer of Assam CTC tea in India’s Bought Leaf Factory (BLF) segment.
With 10 tea factories in Upper Assam and an annual production capacity of 25 million kg, we are trusted institutional suppliers to leading brands like TATA, HUL, Wagh Bakri, and Society Tea.
Our sales operations are managed from our Kolkata office, focusing on private broker-led sales (non-auction).
Job Summary
We are looking for a passionate tea professional with strong negotiation skills and tea tasting expertise to manage private sales through brokers and institutional buyers.
The role involves daily tea tasting, broker interaction, pricing strategy, and end-to-end sales coordination, including documentation and payment follow-ups.
Key Responsibilities
• Manage private and institutional sales of Assam CTC tea via brokers
• Conduct daily tea tasting & sample evaluation
• Negotiate pricing based on quality, aroma, and market demand
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and buyers
• Coordinate dispatches, logistics, and delivery schedules
• Monitor inventory vs. production vs. sales alignment
• Follow up on payments and outstanding receivables
• Handle sales documentation (GST, E-invoicing, brokerage, transport bills)
• Track market trends, mandi pricing, and buyer sentiment
• Lead and manage a team of 3–4 members
Required Skills & Qualifications
• 7–8 years of experience in Assam CTC tea sales
• Strong expertise in tea tasting and grading
• Excellent negotiation & communication skills
• Fluency in Hindi, Marwari, and Gujarati (preferred)
• Knowledge of ERP systems & MS Office
• Understanding of GST, invoicing, and sales accounting
• Strong market awareness and commercial acumen
• Self-driven with high ownership and accountability
Preferred Candidate Profile
• Experience in tea manufacturing companies / BLF segment
• Existing broker & buyer network across India
• Knowledge of warehouse & transport coordination
• Looking for long-term career growth in tea industry
• Candidates who may have been in support roles in large companies but want to grow independently
